A father asked his little daughter what she'd like for Christmas. She said what she wanted more than anything else was a baby brother.
The timing was perfect, and on Christmas Eve her mother came back from hospital with a baby boy.
The following year, the father again asked his daughter what she'd like for Christmas.
'Well,' she replied, 'if it's not to uncomfortable for Mummy, I'd like a pony.'

One said to the other, 'What a pit that she isn't very P-R-E-T-T-Y.'
The little girl turned around and said, 'It doesn't matter, so long as I'm C-L-E-V-E-R.'
