Today, January 30th, 2008, at 6:37pm EST, I sent a email submitting Beauty From Ashes Radio to be listed on iTunes. I have read some say that it can take as long as 3 months or longer to be listed so I'm not going to get excited.

Today, April 11th, 2008, I received this back.
Thank you for your interest in iTunes Radio, we were unable to process your original application for our directory. If you are still interested please resubmit in the future. Not every submission means your station will be added to the directory, we appreciate your patience and understanding.
Ryan iTunes Radio
I plan to resubmit to itunes.

Well it appears that I won't have to resubmitt to itunes. I replied to that email and asked if I had done something wrong when I submitted the application to itunes because I tried to follow the directions to the best of my ability. I received a reply yesterday, April 11th @ 8:15PM with the message "Station will be live tonight." I read this email just a little bit ago and after I did, I launched the itunes application to check and sure enough, there is Beauty From Ashes Radio listed on itunes!

I sent in an update on 7/23 because our former server hosting company "Mouse2Mouse" had moved us to a different server. iTunes was quick to reply and update our listing. However the M2M subscription was canceled on August 7. So when the new server from KWD Services was set up on Saturday morning in the early AM hours, I sent in an email to iTunes to update our listing. However I asked a question in the body of the email which I don't think I was suppose to do because all other inquiries are to be sent separate with the words "Other inquiry" in the subject heading. So when I didn't see a response in my mail box the following Monday, then I decided to submit our update again. There has been no reply but we are still listed on iTunes, not that it makes any difference since nobody can listen to us on iTunes.

I received a reply from Ryan at iTunes yesterday and he said that the update would be live yesterday evening but it wasn't till I got up this morning that I tested the stream (again) on iTunes and now it's working.

Yesterday (11/11) I submitted our 24kbps stream to be listed on iTunes. Today (11/12) it is now listed in the Eclectic and Rock genre's.
